Written for Bangalore but most of things are valid through out India.

After buying few old two wheeler for myself and for  few friends, I decided to write down my experience in this blog. Below i am explaining few thing which may help you in judging price correctly.

How you judge vehicle & Price

Usual  mistake a novice buyer do is by judging vehicle by  look and feel. Don't worry a seller will ensure that bike look best. Here are tips for you to judge a vehicle.

(5 K Kitty)

      A. ) Insurance  - A insurance costs around 1000 rupees , if vehicle is not insured  consider this to final                  cost
B.)  Tyre         - A pair of Tyre cost around 3400 rupees. If type are bald , Consider this to final cost
C.)  Battery     -  A battery cost aroudn 1000 ruppes. A vehicle with bad battery may cost you more

(Engine-Condition)
Take a white paper , Put it on exhaust , Turn engine on full race. Check paper for oil drops and back smoke. A bad engine will have oil drops through silence  and black smoke. Try to avoid such a vehicle.

(Ownership history  & RTO)

      A. ) Ownership History   - Buying  single owner vehicle is recommended. But it is not a rule of thumb.
B.)  RTO                          - Try to get a vehicle registered with local RTO around your house for                                                             convince
  (Document to check)
1. RC 2. Emission certificate 3. Insurance Policy 4. Purchase Bill 5. Tax paid receipt

DON'T FORGET TO CHECK CHASSIS NUMBER AND ENGINE NUMBER WITH RC
DON'T FORGET TO CHECK RTO SITE TO FIND PENDING FINES
DON'T FORGET TO TRANSFER INSURANCE POLICY ON YOUR NAME
